Sassfra Lass is in the house ....

We now have in stock the new Sassafras Lass CHA 2011 ranges

First up is the new starters range .. and now seeing this in person it is MUCH nice than I expected, in fact I am thinking of changing my mind about using the new prima papers for an OTP and going with this range ....

the starting point of a creative idea can often be the most challenging part of the process. where to begin? starters is a brand new innovative line of just that… the starting points. think of these as a foundation to build on. the potential for layering patterns, stickers, foldies and embellishments are unlimited.

each 12"x12" double sided heavyweight paper is embellished with a large decorative paper trim along the bottom edge. no need to throw away the bottom edge when you can add it to your project as a lovely paper trim and that is what the 4 papers in the Starters Paper Collection is all about ...

and then we have Ellie's tales

Do you love the feeling of happening upon a favorite childhood
book?

The rediscovery of a forgotten moment. you open the book
and find pages that have aged to perfection, illustrations that
bring a flood of nostalgia, and memories of the stories being
told for the first time.

Your creative ideas turned into projects will one day be blissfully rediscovered by future generations.
create your very own story with a collection that inspires with
vivid color and classic design

and  Sweetly Smitten...

Described by paper crafting experts as softly spoken with hints
of crafty rough and tumble.

A collection full of charming details
from hand crocheted accents to a splattering of watercolor paint
drops.

Sweetly smitten is the emotion most aptly felt when you
see a project created with this lovely collection

with a new product added to both Ellie's Tales and Sweetly Smitten ... die cut foldies

save yourself hours of tedious cutting and layering with new foldies® from sassafras™. simply pop out a diecut piece and gently fold into a beautiful, layered, dimensional cluster. the gorgeous ensemble of paper flowers created in mere minutes is guaranteed to impress.

And coming soon .......
expected end of March

There are more colours to each of these which you can find in our coming soon section

These are not Webster’s, Prima or any other brand name.  Many of our products (eg bling, flowers, felt and charms - to name a few) are sourced from independent manufacturers and purchased in bulk, thus allowing us to give you fantastic low prices.

I don’t want anyone thinking that I take the "named product" labels off and replace them with ours.

If a product comes ‘branded’ it stays branded – it is only the products that I designed personally and had manufactured that we label with the my2angels brand-name.  The remainder stays as a no brand name.   I hope this clears things up for everyone.

and now on to some inspiration ....

More Graphic 45 Curtain Call Projects

From Lindy ...

I was abit excited to receive from Tracy a box of goodies which had the Graphic 45 Curtain Call papers and some embies

I first created a layout using the Let’s Dance paper as my background
Cutting a circle from Pantomine placed this in the centre, then using
velvet ric rac, black rhinestone chain and lace and placed this towards the bottom of the page.

Cut 2 images from The Cinema placed these on top of the lace and I put a
silver rhinestone star under the photo

Love using all sorts of embies such as Mulberry paper flowers and the Gardenias, and a little flower stem

I surround the flowers with a my2angels brown Time pin and boy on the bike pin, and lastly some gorgeous charms:
musical note
Camera
and a fleur de lis and tied them all with brown and white Bakers twine
and also added the new tassel.
The title I used some small Carolee Creation tiny alphas

I also made a couple of quick and easy cards made with Graphic 45 Curtain Call

Cards 1. Using Tour de France as the background and cut the Image from the reverse side, using a strip from the borders strip

Tied some brown and white baker’s twine and the image and added a Eiffel Tower charm which sets the card off nicely, put the butterfly at the bottom of the card, stamp out a Sentiment and there you are ... such an easy card to make

Card 2

The background I used Leading Ladies and again a strip from the border strips and some black velvet ribbon with silicon swirls (which is part of the free gift this month at my2angels)

Also the image is from the tags and punched a hole and tied a knot in the organza ribbon brown and I chose a sentiment to finish off the card.

and from me Tracy

Using a Scrapware Memory Box and various piece from the Graphic 45 Curtain Call range

and included our gold cup chain, black pearls, red copper evening dress charms
and my gold skeleton leaf flower and black skeleton leaf flower (see previous posts)

I roughed up the pp on the frame with my cutting knife and heat embossed some antique linen embossing powder randomly over it to give it a worn look

Whoops I just realised I have used a NEW scrapware product that isn't available yet ... the new street lamps (the ones on the top of the frame have been cut down)

Don't forget pop over to the new arrivals for the Sassfras Lass new papers
and check out our coming soon section (still getting the Webster's and Prima images to go in there .. do have half of Prima's up so far)

Also can anyone tell me where is my Webster's Spring Market paper are... SAME supplier as Sassfras Lass ... PAID SAME day as Sassfras Lass ... damm have to wait till Monday now (:

Hope everyone has a creative and relaxing weekend
See you soon
