Teresa Collins, Tim Holtz and our Sale

Not long to go before the sale ends over at my2angels so get in now to grab those bargins before the prices revert back to our normal (but still cheap) prices!

We have had some new arrivals this week which you can find here

To be honest I had trouble deciding which new papers to use first! Teresa Collins or TPC or maybe a boys layout with the new Carolee Creations Racing Car theme papers!

Teresa and TPC won (save Carolee for another day!)

Teresa Collins Travel Ledger Collection is a thick textured paper (note to Ann Lavin - great for ripping and I would suggest wetting it a little first because as I said it is a thick paper).

And so being a good thick paper it it perfect to use on my carry case to store all my Tim Holtz products in (Speaking of Tim the next shipment of his products will arrive in the first week of September, which includes Perfect Pearls as requested! His new stamps are not yet available for me to purchase from the supplier arrrhh)

So the base was Teresa Collins Travel Ledger Collection papers, and all edges where inked with Black Soot and Vintage Photo then using my blending tool to give it an worn aged effect (restock of the tool will be in the order I mentioned above!)

On the top includes our Eiffel Tower Charm, Fleur de Lis charm tied to a chipboard key cut from Tim's Alterations Hardware Findings Sizzix Die Cut and painted with Black Soot Distress Crackle Paint . The holes where the string has gone through is cover with our Spacer Beads. To create the circles I used Gold Liquid Pearls

To get the large letters for inks I used Word Art, printed it out and used as a template. They are inked with Vintage Photo.

Scrapware butterflies were inked first and covered in Rangers Embossing Black Puff (I have found you need a really good inked surface when using the puffs) and the red butterfly is covered in Christmas Red Stickles with Tim's Trinket Pins.
The rest are various elements cut from the Teresa Collins Travel Ledger Collection papers

Chipboard letters covered in Distress Crackle Paint Vintage Photo, Cinnamon Stickles and our large brown wooden buttons - purposely leaving some of the black plant underneath exposed

Chipboard letters covered in Ruby Red Liquid Pearls

and the inside

(thanks DD for making a start on labeling everything) - this is the first time I have put everything into the case and oh bugger!!! i still have more to go in there LOL looks like I am back off to Spotlight to get another one or maybe two more suitcases

And here is my layout using the new Boho Blooms papers from TPC Studio collection. We got these papers in on Wednesday and have already sold half of them so another order has been placed and we expect it in sometime during next week - depending on quick Australia Post is!

The more expensive papers in this range has spot varnish on them highlighting specific areas

Handmade flowers out of muslin (purposely leaving the edges frayed) with random Baby Blue Liquid Pearls applied.
Large blue gardenia from the Nature Pack, Blue Canna Lillie with Stamens
For the Scrapware Lisa Flourish I sprayed with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist and while still wet cover with White Embossing Powder and Broken China Embossing Power. The Glimmer Mist doesn't completely hold all the powder which is the look I was after

Buzz and Bloom Chipboard letters covered in Baby Blue Liquid Pearls

TFL
I hope you all have a wonderfull weekend ... I am off to make a start on an eight page mini album that has to be completed by tomorrow night for a birthday party I am going to! Wish me luck!
