The Lads and some Prima layouts

From Taryn with The Lads

Gotta love my cheeky boys, and how well they get along together *mostly*. I managed to sneak this sweet pic of them palling up together at the park.
Too sweet.

For this layout, I used some Graphic45 Playtimes Past paper, which I completely adore, teamed up with some Scrapware cogs, which I inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and stitched around the centre with black thread.

I also added some SEI buttons, and Tracy's fab felt lad (Tracy is giving these as gifts this month, check the store for more details), and little boy charm. I have also stitched on some ric-rac in brown and light blue.

The little soldiers were cut right out of the paper... don't they just look adorable all lined up!

AND FROM ME ....

I can't help myself with the new Prima Papers we have in store ...

First I played with the Jack and Jill Collection and came up with this one ...

Using the soft lime green Jack and Jill Sunny Meadow as my back ground and cutting up various pieces from Green Fields - leaving me with plenty of pieces for another layout

On the Scrapware Flourish and Scrapware Hinges I inked brown then stamped with Tim Holtz Fairy Garden and applied Perfect Pearls Blush - such a gorgeous effect which the photos don't show.

The Ranger Perfect Pearls comes in small jar BUT OMG it will go a long way - unless you open it from the bottom like I did and spill half of it (note to myself write TOP on the jars!)

The title is Thickers Chipboard Jewelry Box

and to highlight some of the edges I used White Opal Liquid Pearls
the butterfly edge is from a Martha Stewart Punch given to me by the beautiful Kathie when I was down in Melbourne

I am intending to bring in some Martha Stewart Punches so if there is one you are after please let me know

and another layout from me (I know not keeping with the boys theme for the month but I HAD to use this paper!)

Introducing the Annalee Collection ... OMG such beautiful papers that I am already half way through another layout LOL

Snowflake Core dinations cardstock as the base and using an old die cut pp as a template for the brackets I cut the gorgeous Ashton pp and inking all the edges in brown

Scrapware chipboard date set has been inked with Stazon Blush Pink, brown ink edges and the word date has Diamond Dust sprinkled over it

The Scrapware Butterflies have been inked with Stazon Blush Pink and edges inked in brown.

You probably can't see but again I stamped them with Tim Holtz Fairy Garden and applied Perfect Pearls Blush like the previous layout but this time sprinkling Diamond Dust on the edges. Centred each one with a pink pearl

For the large butterfly I made a brown organza ribbon rose, inkssentials crackle accent and cream stamens

On the side piece I used string, more organza ribbon roses, brown gardenia sprinkled with Diamond Dust, brown stemmed flowers, 2cm wide white organza ribbon, brown organza ribbon for the bows and tied our bronze heart locket and bronze key charms

That is it for me, I have layout to finish then going to start on a new one with the super cute (excuse the pun) So Cute Collection ... but before I go

BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my brother
and also to a my2angels customer Melody Rainbow
HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY

See back on Friday with a layout from our Guest Designer Ngaire Gilligan
