Create your own embellishments

Here are a few ideas to create your own embellishments
using our Glass Cabochons

These have been used in various kits that we have in stock but we thought we would share them so you can make your own Websters and Prima Style Pebbles

Remember back in January for the school scrapbooking layouts where I showed you these?

Mega Easy to make:

Select some pattern paper to use (or stickers like I did above), apply clear liquid glue like dimensional magic or glossy accents to the back of the glass cabochon

Apply gently pressure and swirl paper around the base of the glass cabochons (to spread the glue and remove any air bubbles that may appear).

Wait till it dries then cut around the glass cabochons to create your own pebble

Or if you would like a water effect, like the October Embellishment Kit subscribers received, read on:

Take a selection of various sizes of glass cabochons

Apply drops of Dimensional Magic to the back to create the water bubbles ..usually we don't want bubbles in our Dimensional Magic but in this case we encourage the bubbles to give an even more effective water effect (of course when I was making them I could only get a few of the bubbles TYPICAL ah!)

Apply Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze All that Jazz to the flat back of the cab, using the brush that comes with the bottle

Wait for it to dry (around an hour depending on the weather and heat) and then you have your own water bubbles

Ideal for your beach or bath layouts

If you do not want to make your own water bubbles, no probs, we have made some for you.  You will find them in the cabochons section on the website

and while we on the subject of Glimmer Glaze
our October subscribers also received these for their summer / beach layouts

Take one of our circle silver pendants
Apply Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze All that Jazz to the pendant, using the brush that comes with the bottle
While it is still wet then place one of our Jandal / Thong Charms (the glaze will seal and hold the charm so no need to apply glue)
