Silver Ribbon Christmas TreeCut a piece of white cardstock to a rectangle, 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 "
Trim the corners to form a triangle
Apply silver stickles or glitter around the edges of the triangle.
Arrange 3 silver metallic leaves over the triangle
Make 4 knots out of the silver fibre ribbon, arrange them on the tree, and trim the edges
Apply rhinestones to the centres of the ribbon knots
Make a small bow for the top of the tree, and apply a large silver rhinestone.
Ric Rac Christmas Tree Cut a rectangle of green patterned paper, 3 x 4.5"
Trim it to a triangle shape, by cutting off the corners
Cut a tree base from the scraps (reverse side)
Ink the edges using peeled paint distress ink (optional)
Using the grid marks on your cutting mat as a guide, apply strips of thin double sided tape at 1/4" intervals
Apply red velvet ric-rac along the strips of tape (one tree takes approx 40cm ric-rac)
Stitch around the edges and down the centre (optional)Add a star/jewel/accent to the top of the tree. (I have used a large rhinestone mounted on a wooden button, that has been inked using fired brick distress ink)
Add strips of rhinestone chain (optional)
Concial Christmas Trees
Cut a piece of plain cardstock 2x2" square, and ink the edges.
Cut 3 concentric circles out of green patterned paper. (I have used approx 2 - 2 1/4" circles)
Cut each circle into 3rds (approximately)
Roll each piece gently to form a cone type shape, arrange the 3 pieces in the shape of a tree, and apply them to your square piece of cardstock using dimensional magic (hold it in place for 10seconds so that it sticks)
Decorate the tree using stickles / glitter and rhinestones.
