Day 5 Christmas Cards - Presents

Christmas Presents By Corrina

Materials Used:

Papers: Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Delight Tis the Season Stripe, Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Delight Peppermint Mix and Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Morning/Gifts Galore papers, A5 Kraft card folded (bazzill kraft is perfect for this).

Embellishments: Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Delight Journal Tablet, Loose silver rhinestones.

Product used: Kindyglitz, 3-D foam tape, sewing machine, PVA glue.

1. Cut out as many presents as you can from the LYB Christmas Morning/Gifts Galore paper. If they are in a cluster then cut out the cluster intact.

2. Cut a piece of LYB Tis the Season Stripe paper to fit the front of the card.

Machine stitch with a simple running stitch around the edge. Adhere to front of the card.

3. Cut a piece of LYB Peppermint Mix paper 4 ½ inch by 2 ½ inches.

Machine stitch around the edge with a simple running stitch and adhere to the edge of the card approx ½ inch from the top.

Zig Zag stitch around the edge of the square journaling diecut and adhere to the card approx 1 inch from the top.

4. Glue some loose rhinestones in the circles of the green background paper.

Now to layer up the presents. Play around with the positions of the presents until they look right to you. (At this point, I grab either my camera or my mobile phone to take a quick picture so I can remember how I had them.)

To layer the presents, start by gluing the back row flat to the diecut.

5. Now add your front row by sticking them over the top using 3-D foam tape.

Add some Kindyglitz for highlights on the word delights and the tops of the presents, and finish off with a rhinestone centre in each bow.
