Christmas Cards Day 8 Reindeeers

Christmas Reindeer Card

By Corrina

Materials Used:

Papers: Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Delight Reindeer Crossing, Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Delight Christmas Morning, A5 cream card folded.

Embellishments: Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Delight Journal Tablet, Large Reindeer charm, red organza ribbon, red stemmed star flowers, red crystal brad.

Product used: PVA glue, 3-D foam tape, sewing machine.

1. Cut a piece of the LYB Reindeer Crossing Paper to fit the front of the card. Machine stitch with a running stitch around the edge of the paper.

Adhere to the front of the A5 card.

2. Machine stitch around the circle journaling diecut.

Cut a square 3 ¼ inch in size from the LYB Christmas Morning paper.

Machine stitch around the edge of this and adhere the square to front of the card.

3. Take the reindeer charm and turn it over.

Tie a piece of the red organza ribbon around the neck of the reindeer. Fill inside the back of the reindeer charm with two layers of 3-d foam tape.

This will stop the charm from moving around on our card but NOT hold it on.

4. To hold the reindeer onto the card, stick the reindeer to the circle using the foam tape, then insert a red crystal brad through the ribbon and through the back of the journaling diecut.

This brad actually holds the reindeer onto the card.

Now stick the circle onto the middle of the square on the centre of the card.

5. Trim the ribbon down and glue some star flowers along one corner, using PVA glue.

Hope you are enjoying Corrina's Cards

I am finding inspiration and looking outside my usual 12x12 - hope you are too :)

Oh and if you are wondering that the red stemmed flowers look different ... they are!

We have received a shipment of NEW AND IMPROVED stemmed flowers - thicker and far superior quality

My favourite Brown ...

I have take close up photos of them inside the products pages, and not played with the colouring so you can see true to life as much as possible, depending on your computer!

Oh and we have pure PINK flowers as well as pink & white flowers

They are listed in their own section, stemmed flowers, under flowers in the main menu
