Colouring Chipboard Techniques

Corrina is sharing her techniques for colouring chipboard with us today ...

First her layout ... Relaxing

This layout is one of myself and Wendy drinking some Midori cocktails that my wonderful husband made for us on Boxing Day. It was such a lovely day - warm weather and good company and great cocktails!!

The gorgeous Bo Bunny paper was just too beautiful to cut ink or tear so I left it whole and used it as a main focus. I inked the buzz and bloom chipboard piece and finished it with a touch of Rock Candy Distress Stickles. I couldn't resist the fabulous new Twinklets Diamond Dust so I applied glue to the bottom half of the title and dusted with Twinklets.

(HINT: to use Diamond Dust on sticker alphabets, line your letters up on a piece of acetate first, then apply glue and twinklets. Once dried, brush away any loose pieces and then adhere to your layout...)

What I used:
Papers: Bo Bunny Sophie's Notebook, Autumn Leaves Sweet Whispers
Title and Journalling: AC Thickers - Jewelry Box, Carolee's Creations Tiny Black Alphas.
Embellishments: Buzz and Bloom Chipboard Arboretum: up the garden path
Materials: Twinklets Diamond Dust (will be back in stock shortly), Distress Stickles Clear Rock Candy, Versacolour inks.
Tools: machine stitching, Martha Stewart border & corner punches - Loopy.

I love this technique! It would be a great way to use up the kids half used coloured pencils that seem to clog up their school pencil cases with! Tracy :)

We hope you are inspired to have a go at these techniques and please share them with us in our gallery

Have a great everyone
