Off the Page Christmas Scene

I have so much fun creating this Santa Lane OTP Christmas Scene and I surprised myself as it only took a couple of days!

For once I am happy with the end result and DD loves it so much while I was making it she kept checking in on me to see what else I had added. I still can't decide whether to add some brown bling chain around the edge or just leave it as is.

I orginally made it for a centre piece for the table, and created it so whatever way you looked at it you didn't see the back of a flower or whatever. But you know Christmas morning, the wine, little fingers, the chaos etc etc so its safely placed on a shelf!

I used the Scrapware Wisteria Lane Kit
Pattern Papers for both of the houses is from Jenni Bowlin Studios

I added our Christmas Stocking charm to the front door and aged our bike charm with Timber Brown Staz on Ink

I made a little set of curtains for the back of the house from our cotton lace and tied with brown organza ribbon
For the fence I used scrapware baroque trim chipboard and adhered them onto ice block sticks, which were painted cream, inked and sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

For the trees I covered cones (brought from spotlight) with our cotton lace, coffee brown glass seed beads and topped with our brown embossed felt star (sprayed with glimmer mist).

The middle tree is painted pink then covered with our pink skeleton leaves and topped with bows made from pink organza ribbons and 2 of our bell charms.

I wrapped tuelle around the little tree (sprayed with Pink Taffy Glimmer Mist), pink rhinestones and topped with our pink scroll felt star and kindy glitz.

Also added our present charms, ribbon bow charms and reindeer charm, large heart locket charm and scrapware mini holly under the trees with the presents

I made the seat out of ice blocks stick and inked again with with Timber Brown Staz on Ink. Lots of mulberry flowers, dragonfly charm, pearls and rhinestones. For the sign post I used the negative part from the sheet of windows (from the House kit) and added antique brown jump rings.

Here I cut off the flower (yuks) from the scrapware sunflower (to use another time) and added one of our pink mulberry flowers and centered with our brown wooden buttons.

And now on to my Christmas cards - I can't believe I am sooooooo late in sending them out.
Hope you all have a productive and creative week
Take care and TFL
