Another Off the Page House to share

And the house obsession continues…

This is for Jo's OTP Challenge over at Aussie Girls Gone Scrappin
Oh and importantly I might add she also made the house up for me in her workshop (she also makes the birdhouses available over at my2angels)

I used Websters Pages Classic Beauty Pattern Paper to cover the house and also to make the trees (or umbrellas as the rest of the household though they were!!!). Already been asked how to make these trees so I will get some photos of that to post asa I can

For the smoke from the chimney I used our silver rhinestone scroll and cut around the backing sheet and inked it with timber brown stazon ink
Around the base of the house is my version of flower soft (more details further down)
Moving up to the roof, I used scrapware chipboard vines which I sprayed with Creme de chocolat glimmer mist (will be back in stock before the New Year) and green inked around the leaves.

Made a nest out of small strips of pattern paper and dead branches from the garden for the scrapware bird minus the branch to sit in.

I covered the bird with our pale blue glitter

Wishing well is made from matchsticks (painted and inked), with a little lid used for the bucket and a silver jump ring. The water is blue tulle, little bit of our blue glitter and some dimensional magic dribbled into it
Also wrapped our blue stemmed flowers around it

I made a pathway cutting the pattern paper in random widths and inked edges. The door mat is distressed around the edges and then I covered with crackle paint. Above the door I used Scrapware Mini Baroque Trim, pearl for door handle and our jandals / thongs and high heel charms.

Organza Ribbon (inked brown)
Heart Rhinestone Buckle
8mm Ivory Pearl Beads and dimensional magic to hold them in place (used the wire/string that they come on)

String flowers at the back were easy peasy – I applied 3mm double sided tape to the string and rolled it around – the stems are match sticks inked

I downloaded the girl looking in the window from clipart
Also foam taped was used on random pieces of inked pattern paper to give a brick like wall

Green, Brown and Rose mulberry leaves
Gardenia from our romance pack
Dark Pink Stemmed Flowers
To make your own flower soft you need a grater and polystyrene.

WARNING: prior to beginning ensure you have a very clean wide open space to work in, NO COUGHING or SNEEZING or OPEN WINDOWS WHERE A BREEZE can come through during this project!. Oh and don’t spray glimmer mist directly onto it unless glued down already – its amazing HOW IT FLIES … EVERYWHERE! (oh I know it is obvious! but at 3am you don't always think of these things!)

Okay now just grate away and make a massive mess! It’s cheaper by far but as you can tell by the above warnings it is abit of an undertaking LOL

To colour it (after my first attempt and cleaned up the mess!)I put it into a little jar and sprayed with glimmer mist but food colouring should work just as well – I am sure there are easier and cleaner ways but in the early hours of the morning that was all I could think of at the time!
One more house to complete then perhaps I will move onto another obsession... well maybe LOL

The next house is a different one from scrapware, not yet up on the website but will be in stock in the New Year on our new site.

To each and everyone of you, a big THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your support, comments and encouragement you have given me throughout the year. I can't express what it means to me.

This will probably be our last blog post for the year, not sure if I will get a chance to be back before the end of the year. The new website is a huge task and I don't expect it to be up and ready until the 4th/5th January but we are still operational and I am around but may not get to your emails as quickly as I would like to.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you all safely in the New Year.
