Wedding Day Canvases

Wedding Day Canvases
by Lisa

I have used this gorgeous paper collection from Echo Park Be Mine before and it is too sweet to just leave and not use the rest of it.

So I decided to go OTP and get a bit creative and do something for ME.

I had these 4 small canvases sitting in the cupboard for ages.  I have cut of the size of the canvas using the Echo Park paper and scrapped it using the beautiful range of products Tracy has over here at my2angels.

I have also used a bit of Teresa Collins Welcome Home paper.  The frames and chandeliers are simply stunning and easy to cut out.

Firstly I have indulged in her all time cute as charms.  These are soo my favourites.  To bling it up a bit I have added some pink diamantes and some silver bling diamantes.

On the OUR DAY canvas I have used the Scrapware Chipboard Antique Lowercase Alphas Mini and then inked them up using Orchid Brilliance ink and then added glossy accents over the top for that nice firm glossy finish. I love the circle pendant.  It opens all ideas up what to put in there.  I have cut out a piece of co ordinating paper and put our Wedding date on it finishing it off with two of my favorite charms.  The key and the word Love tied up with some sweet organza ribbon.  I then adhere the letter to a Teresa Collins Welcome frame.

You don't need much to bling it up and give it that romantic beautiful touch.

With the Scrapware Chipboard Antique Lowercase Alphas for my title I have inked them up using Orchid Brilliance ink and then added glossy accents over the top for that nice firm glossy finish. I love the circle pendant.  It opens all ideas up what to put in there.  I have cut out a piece of co ordinating paper and put our Wedding date on it finishing it off with two of my favorite charms.  The large silver key charm and the Love charm are tied up with some pink organza ribbon.

and on this canvas

I  used one of the small Scrapware Alyssa Flourishs, painted it and then lightly smeared some Ranger Stickles to it for that added bling  then finally added one of Tracy's beautiful Princess charms.

I have used one of the lovely Metallic Cream Skeleton Leaves and placed a wee Resin Cabochons Flowers Pink over the top of a pink flower.

I am soo in love with these.  I could have them all in a jar and eat em up like lollies.

On this canvas I have cut out one of Teresa Collins frames and added some Rhinestones around the frame.  I have then added the beautiful sweet as butterfly.

Before I added it I sprayed it with Tattered Angels Gold Glimmer Mist.

I have actually sprayed all the background papers with the gold glimmer mist before I scrapped each page.  It is so beautiful when it is on the paper.  I am obsessed with it.  Love the Gold...
It is my safe color. LOL.

On the bottom of this photo on this canvas I have added the lovely White and Silver Acrylic Chain with Rhinestones.  These are just beautiful and so easy to use.

And of course to top off my page I have added more bling by using the LOVE pin, Eiffel Tower Charm and the bling trim which is very sweet.  Easy to use by adhering it with just a bit of Pritt glue or Glossy accents.

So there is my project which I now have hanging in my scrapping room.
I love it.
Go and give it a go..
Something different is great for me ....
Gives me a break from the layouts which I cannot seem to manage to stop putting together..
Maybe because I just love scrapping so much xx

OTP Photo Carousel with Prima

I had to make something with the gorgeous Prima Botanical Beloved pattern paper and one of my favourite materials for OTP's .... Pizza Boxes
and using the new Scrapware ATC frames to show off some of my crazy friends who I have met in this wonderful world of scrapping

All the photos are hanging using our antique bronze jump rings and antique bronze iron chain
the top of the roof is edged with our cream frilly lace and the doily I sprayed with Coffee Shop Glimmer Mist and then painted with mod podge to seal and "harden" it
Sorry the Coffee Shop sold out about an hour ago along with half of our glimmer mist stock (restock due to arrive mid April)

The roof covered with peach gardenias and I inked their edges with Jumbo Java

Me with Kathy (Scraphappy Kat)
The most generous lady I have ever had the pleasure of meeting ... this July we will get a better photo ... I had just got out of the shower ready to leave to fly back home and Kathy was rushing out the door for an UNPLANNED emergency doctors appointment ... (note to self this July at the retreat no sharp knives near Kathy!!!! )

Lisa and I

Then turn frame around to show Lisa being cheeky
(unbeknown to me until she had left and I uploaded the photos to the computer!!!!)

Mel, Ann and I being twit! (on the back of the frame is the "normal" photo of us ... if you can call us normal but damm I didn't get a photo of it to share)

Middle pole with brown stemmed flowers
Gold flower rhinestone chain (individually cut up)

Webster's Pages Creations from the DT

Webster's Pages

First up is Lindy ....
I love it when new stock comes in and just see how gorgeous Webster's Pages Spring Market is.

For the title I used the new Websters story tellers alphas

And lastly  I sewed around the pages to add some texture

and from Corrina

Hi Everyone!

I have to tell you it is soooo nice to be back on my feet and scrapping again! This month Tracy sent me a pack of the gorgeous Websters Petite Pages, which are 6x6 pages from the Spring Market, Yacht Club and Country Estate ranges....awesome value as you receive 36 mini pages in the pack...and they were just what I needed to inspire me to make this whimsical layout of my daughter Ashlee.

Starting off with black cardstock that I messy machine straight stitched several times around the edge.

I used zig zag stitch to attach 3 of the 6 inch pages diagonally across the page – I used the entire sheets and didn’t cut them down. I placed my photo on then I ‘stretched’ a black felt scroll frame to fit it.

How did I do this? EASY!...I cut a black felt scroll frame in half diagonally. I placed one piece on the top right hand corner, and the other on the left bottom hand corner. I hid the gaps on each side of the frame with our wonderful paper stemmed star flowers et voila!!!

The frame ‘grew’ bigger.
I added one of our timepieces there too, as every Looking Glass page needs a pocket watch! AND yes, I did add Diamond Dust onto the stemmed flowers...and yes, I am a *little* addicted to it...

The leaves are our new Scrapware ones – a mix of large foliage and small foliage. I inked them in a light green ink first, and embossed them with distress embossing powder (peeled paint)...

I just love the olive green colour they turned out! I added a few little charms here and there, and one of our fabulous engraved felt hearts that are our FREE GIFT this month. I couldn’t resist the new Scrapware iron gates either so I inked some black and popped those on too – complete with a little lock charm to keep the secret gates closed!

The title is done using Websters Wonderfall alphabet stickers (just to keep the Websters theme going LOL)...and here’s a sticker tip...don’t be afraid to mix n match your stickers if you don’t have enough of the one colour to finish your title. Sometimes it adds just a little interest and depth.

MATERIALS USED:

and lastly, from me Tracy

Every Scrapware Clouds needs a silver lining OR our rainbow with clouds charm  ... the rain drops  were already on the paper but I added  Baby Blue Liquid Pearls to them

I framed the photo with our white scalloped felt frame and inked randomly on the edges

See I cut scallop edging and raised it up with foam mounting tape for dimension and I also did the same with the umbrella which you really can't see from this photo

All edges were inked with Blue and Jumbo Java

The red and blue flowers are our new resin flowers which you will find in our new section called flower embellishments in the flower section

Also added our yellow stemmed flowers above the umbrella

and I have been naughty!!!!!!!

When I should have been cleaning and packing for our move... I scrapped ... well how can a girl resist when all the new products have been arriving ... and in my defence they were very quick layouts with minimal embellishments and only 3 pieces of pattern paper were used with lots left over!

Warning no child was injured during this photo shoot LOL
I needed to get boxes out of the ceiling and it was too late and dark to get the ladder from out the back so DD got onto DS shoulders ... well the kid is 5ft 10 heck who needs a ladder!!!!

The BF reckons it should be titled something along the lines  "Looking for their Christmas Presents"

and

and with the Hometown Summer Border Stickers added with a camera charm and our new ball and chain

Hope everyone has a great week
