Finally, I finished the Lollipop Lane OTP that I started a week before Christmas. Well I didn't want flowers or other embellishments, only lollies and sweet things to match the theme.
Some days I just drew a blank so put it away and just added to it when I thought of things. I also wanted it all in similar colours since it is a busy looking project anyway I didn't want to confuse it by adding more and more colour.
So here it is using the Scrapware 3D House Kit
The roof is covered with loads of buttons and kindy glitz. That's our lollipop charm in the chimney
This is the about the 10th gingerbread lady (covered with diamond dust) that I made, wasn't happy with any of them (and still not happy with this one but too bad I needed the space on my table to make room to get on with more layouts LOL)
My favourite piece ... an ice cream sundae made with lots of crystalina kindy glitztopped with a pink glitter brad and our spoon charm . See the ice block dripping in the background? The drip is crystalina 3d kindy glitz, love the effect this medium gives!
and just some more close ups using lots of rhinestones and kindy glitz. The fence was made with matchsticks cut various lengths and covered with Rock Candy Distress Paint Picket Fence. The fairy floss is a cotton wool ball sprayed with Pink Taffy Glimmer Mist
Under the window is a pile of buttons and beads covered in Diamond Dust. In real life they look like sugar coated lollies.
I love this wheelbarrow made from ice block sticks, button for wheel, painted pink then covered in clear rock candy distress crackle paint. The wheelbarrow is what started the whole idea for this project (dunno where or how it went from a wheelbarrow to this but that's me LOL)
And for those who have asked, we hope to have more diamond dust, Tim Holtz and Ranger products back in stock mid to late May and the Prima papers will be restocked by the end of next week.
