New stock arrived ... Tim Holtz Diamond Dust and heaps more
with all the new products that arrived this morning.
We have Tim Holtz Distress Paints, Distress Inks, Distress Stickles and a few Basic Grey Bling shapes. Plus White Opaque pens from Inkssentials - goes on black paper brilliantly!
Also Tattered Angels Bingo Boards and Calling Cards - 3 5x7 Bingo Boards with three quote swatches and 3 calling cards in a pack - gorgeous antique themed imagery. They are available in Beach, Travel and outdoor Themes
And Diamond Dust - not heard of it?
Well you know the crystal effect that Prima have on their chipboard letters and flowers - it is similar to that. Hang on, wait a sec I will go and use it and get a photo
It was a quickie (will tidy it up later). I covered the letters with dimensional magic then sprinkled it over.
Thought I might as well give the stickles a go so I quickly put used Picket Fence Distress Stickles onto a chipboard letter to show you also
And in between uploading the new products I took a detour over to Teresa Collins Blog and look what she has used on a layout - the frame with bow embellishment we stock. Her one is in black and she has placed a watch face in it - check it out here
You can find all our new products here
I am out of here with a big decision to face - what new product do I try out next?

In Training ...
For this layout I have used some Scrapware and some my2angels own goodies.
For the Scrapware house and grass, I have coloured them in colours to coordinate with the Rose Moka patterned paper, and then used crackle accent. The cloud I have inked used brown and white inks. The large title is die cut from Core dinations Nightfall cardstock which I have sanded and then 3D taped. I have finished off by adding a my2angels black rhinestone scroll and some cute little footy boot charms tied on with some raffia!!
Products Used:
Black Rhinestone Scroll : Football Boot Charms :
Rose Moka Equinoxe Pied de Poule Paper : Nightfall Core dinations Cardstock : Carolees Creations Tiny Alphas
Scrapware Chipboard - House : Grass : Clouds

Easter Cards and Baskets
I find I can never make enough cards. No sooner do I make them than I give them away. I love how happy people are when they receive a card, and realise it has been handmade.
Take a look at these gorgeous creations from the Design Team
First from Corrina ...
For Easter I have decorated these two cute little chinese takeaway boxes. These would be sooooo cute either filled with choccies as a present (or filled with buttons or little embellishments for your favourite scrapper!) for Easter.
Garden Scene Easter box:
This box has loads of die cut embellishments but can easily be reproduced using hand-drawn, paper pieced or clip art images. The grass strips are all handcut at random heights, and the eggs and grass are layered in to give the illusion of depth.
PRODUCTS USED:
Paper: blue core dinations cardstock, yellow core dinations cardstock, pink core dinations cardstock, snowflake core dinations cardstock
Ribbons: yellow ric rac, blue velvet ric rac, general scraps of ribbon from desk.
Embellishments: all die cut...embossed with cuttlebug embossing folders: swiss dots, Victoria.
Blue flower Easter box:
This box has some machine stitching through the middle of the paper detail. The chipboard button was painted yellow, then inked, then coated in Rock Candy. The little rabbit is a quickutz die cut but you could do the same with a sticker cut up or paper piece him with ease. The large flower is a cuttlebug die set that both cuts and embosses and is called Build A Flower.
PRODUCTS USED:
Paper: Kaisercraft Christmas Spirit Joyful, blue core dinations cardstock, and yellow core dinations cardstock,
Ribbons: yellow ric rac, baby blue spotted, yellow spotted, white organza
Embellishments: Scenic Route chipboard button, quickutz die (rabbit), cuttlebug die (build a flower)
From Taryn ...
The cream cotton lace and blue ball trim co-ordinate perfectly with the gorgeous paper, and I used a few pearls to add interest. To create the frilled look around the outside of the card, I used a punch to punch some scalloped strips, then ran them through a paper crimper before shaping them around the outside of the main piece. I just love how pretty and frilly it looks.
I also used some Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint all over the bird -love the texture!
Still from Taryn ...
Also this month at my2angels, we got to create an easter basket. I thought I'd have a go with the gorgeous Crate Paper Lillian Collection Tickled Pink and Delight die cuts, along with a Scrapware Birdie and Fence. To trim, I used some of Tracy's cream cotton lace, light blue velvet ribbon and mini pink butterfly, and I used one of Tracy's pearls on the birdie's eye. Of course, i couldn't resist a coat of Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint on the chipboard (yes, I too am addicted to that stuff).
Tracey created an Easter gift box.
Have you ever wanted to give Easter eggs to someone without looking like you grabbed it straight off the supermarket shelf??? I don't like how "commercial" they look and they are never really a personal gift. SO I recycled a clear, plastic chocolate box. (yeah I ate the chocolates that used to live in it!....lol)
Products used from my2angels:
Cream Scroll Felt Hearts
Pearls - 5mm and 7mm
8mm Ivory Cream Pearl Beads
ICE Stickles Glitter Glue Crystal Ice
Pink & White Stemmed Star Flowers
Cream Cotton Lace
Mulberry Paper Leaves - Pink, White and Green
Gardenias Mulberry Paper Flowers - Romance
3mm Double Sided Tape
Other Stuff:
Recycled Chocolate box
Glue
OK off to eat some choccie eggs now!....lol
From our Guest Design Team Member Ann, she has created this cute card from Websters Pages
The bunny is cut out of Natures Storybook - Grow Dreams.
I have also used Wishes come true and Paris Couture.
The Card is made using Core-dinations Cardstockwhich I have embossed using the embossing folder birds and swirls.
Carolees Creations Tiny Etched Natural
mushroom charm, silver rhinestone scroll with lace
We hope the girls gave you some ideas for the Chocolate Season, only a week and a half to start dieting in preparation LOL

Easter Layouts
With Easter not too far away the Design Team have come up with some gorgeous Easter layouts to get you in the mood (this has certainly helped me get me started because I have only done ONE Easter Layout EVER so that's 13 years to catch up on GULP!)
First off let's start with Wendy ...
This LO uses the fantastic new Sassafras Lass Apple Jack papers, My Type
and Translate.
All the edges have been inked and the decorative strip is
from the My Type paper.
The Easter title is die cut from Coredinations cardstock using Cuttlebug's Red Tag Alpha.
I've also used Carolees Creations Tiny Alpha Stickers and mounted them on the same cardstock.
Embossed the Buzz and Bloom photo corners with the Mesh Cuttlebug
Embossing Folder but the Tiny Bubbles folder would give the same effect.
I used the 'reverse' embossing and inked it to match the cardstock and the buttons. Finished off with a little hand stitching.
Please contact Tracy if you would like her to order in an Cuttlebug
items for you.?

Core dinations All in the Family Pack Aqua Blues - the
blue cardstock I used is I think the darkest one in this pack
the mesh folder I have used is a lot like the cuttlebug embossing folder tiny bubbles

Inks
And Tracey says ... hmmm.....not too sure about this one. Was trying something different and therefore I am not sure I like!!!.....lol (you sound like me LOL must be the name!)

and lastly, Taryn ...
I loved the crate paper die cuts, so decided to use the leftovers for a layout of this sweet photo of Lana. I made a handmade flower from the Delight die cut, added some AC thickers, and a scrapware birdie. I also use some Websters Pages ball trim, and some glimmermist here. To create the background, I have punched out some little hearts, and stitched them to the page using brown thread, then added some pearls as highlights.
We have more Easter OTPs and Cards from the Design Team to show you, but you will just have to wait for a few days LOL
Oh and yah finally Bo Bunny and 3 Bugs in a Rug should be here on Monday - see the CHA 2010 section on our website.

Have a great day everyone
