 What do you do with seed beads?

At our recent Christmas Embellishment Class we created a Christmas tree using the strands of beads on a Christmas Tree

Or you could make your a 3D Christmas Tree Gift Holder using this Christmas Tree Template

I cut mine from pizza box for a sturdy tree and so it will keep for many years.  Strip off some of the layers randomly.  Add our Green Christmas Tree and Stars Felt Ribbon and paint all over using Claudine Hellmuth Multi-Medium Matt .  Our felt ribbon is also available in red.  All felt ribbons are here

While the medium is still wet, sprinkle over green seed beads, cut various scrolls from the felt ribbon to "hang" our gold star charms and just for you star charms.  Add an Antique Bronze Double Stars to the top of one side.  You may need to do this in sections eg each triangle at a time so the beads don't fall off before they stick.  And don't forget the bottom of your tree.  I added a mini olive gardenia and a brown tassel

So you should have something like this, which at this point looks pretty dull.  Next give it another paint of Claudine Hellmuth Multi-Medium Matt to give it a sealant coat.  Leave to dry.  Should only take about an hour in warm conditions with a semi-thick coat.

Next choose your choice of Glimmer Mists to spray over your tree.  I used Tattered Leather, Lime Key Pie, Olive Vine and Bronze

Attach Antique Bronze Chain and Antique Bronze 10mm Jump Ring to the Antique Bronze Double Stars and hang from your Christmas tree for a unique Gift Holder

or you may like to omit the  and adhere one of our new Antique Bronze Merry Christmas Charming Chain to the top

Highlight the tree with Red Stickles

For the background Christmas Trees I dropped coordinating Tim Holtz Reinkers on a makeup pad and applied my stamp to the make up pad then stamped onto the card and onto Bazzill Kraft cardstock.  I then cut around my kraft stamped trees and adhered to layout.

Highlighted the tree with light green rhinestones

 

The background trees were again using
the Christmas Tree from Kaisercraft Turtle Dove Stamps

but this time embossed with Shabby Green Embossing Enamel Powder
