now to play with the Gilded Mica Fragments
And I have to apologise for no photos during the process as I completed this card late last night and the photos I took didn't come out too well (:

Ink your chipboard with Versamagic Galaxy Gold
Apply "emboss it" and sprinkle with Aged Gold Embossing Enamel and "heat gun" it (always heat from underneath when using the Stampendous Embossing powders, it DOES fly if you don't!)
Then using liquid glue sprinkle over your Gilded Mica Fragments (I crushed mine them to make them not so chunky in size)
It is all very pretty at this stage, but I wanted more (don't we always!) ...
And because Mica Fragments DON'T melt you can continue adding layers of embossing and it won't affect the fragments
So with your Perfect Medium Pen draw on random areas then sprinkle with Aged Black Embossing Enamel and "heat gun" it
Now to do something with it ...
I ran a twiddleybitz kraft card through my cuttlebug embossing with Funky Christmas Collection embossing folder
Cut up a piece of old chipboard fence, similar to Imaginarium Picket Fence, which is great cause it is 30cm long you could make 3 cards with the one piece. Ink with Jumbo Java and put through the cuttlebug with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and gave it a final wipe of Versamagic Galaxy Gold (too tone down the brown).
For the holly on the lamp post I inked with Versamagic Olive Ink and covered with Rock Candy Crackle Paint. While the rock candy was still wet I placed 3 red rhinestones for the berries on top.
The large snowflake charms, have been embossed with Zing! Red Glitter Embossing Powder as the silver wasn't working with the rest of the charm. These are "hanging" from our Gold Rhinestone Chain
And finally, on the fence I sprinkle some more Gilded Mica Fragments and added my Christmas greeting with Carolee Creations Ruby Red stickers wiped with Versamagic Galaxy Gold to tone down the white.
Yah one Christmas Card done!
Don't do cards? Me neither only if I have to! But there is no reason why you can't turn this card into a 12x12 layout using the same techniques. I often look at Card Blogs for inspiration
Don't have the Holly Lamp Post die? Obviously I do LOL, so if you want some cut from chipboard send me an email via the contact us tab on our website and I organise it for you
Happy Creating
