Introducing ...

I am so please to announced that the amazing talented Heather Jacob is joining us at my2angels for the next 3 months as Guest DT.  I have long admired her amazing talent not just in scrapbooking but also her mixed media creations ... here are a few words from the lady herself ...

I am so thrilled to be a guest designer on my2angels, when Tracy asked me I was very excited and jumped at the chance… I adore art and working with Tracy’s unique embellishments

First,  a little bit about me

Hi there, my name is HEATHER  JACOB

I am blissfully married to my wonderful, supportive “soul mate” BADEN

 

our treasured family are all featured throughout  my work.

Creating art is one of my many passions in life..

To me this craft is the perfect combination of art, photography, beautiful paper, glorious words, and complete freedom to express myself .

I can incorporate all the arts and crafts I love in one hobby. 

My books are a reflection of my life, my history, my family and friends.

Also who I was yesterday and who I am today.

I am inspired by colour and texture … I love to include stitching, chipboard, journaling, muslin, fabrics, metal elements, inking, masking and texture paste.

first and foremost I always choose the PHOTO, then the colours and papers are chosen depending on the energy, the emotion and the story behind the photo.. ..

Off the page projects and altered art are two faves of mine. Tags, cards and mini books ..  

My style is “CLASSIC” with attention to detail… sometimes a little shabby chic thrown in…....and I often tend to lean towards the monochromatic theme ….

. I layered it on top of some paper clocks

and secured them with a brad.

they add a unique look and feel to a page don't you agree ???

I brushed gesso over the antique bronze key to add an aged feel
