Christmas Cards
Every year I say that I will make my Christmas Cards early and as usually, not being a fan of making cards, I keep putting it off and leaving it to the last minute!
If you are anything like me, I have the solution
12 very basic and easy peasy Christmas cards that you will whip up in no time!
I tried to used the same selection of embellishments throughout the cards, keeping the cost and time down
All you need is a few base products to start with:

and 10 "5x7"Ivory Greeting Cards (10 for $1.80 and includes the envelopes)
okay so not the best photos from the supplier but you will get their look as we progress

So start by cutting each flash card up into separate pieces
All your back ground pieces of cardstock is 10cm x 14cm (so you can get 6 cards from one sheet of cardstock)
Card 1
Adhere your cardstock and flash card to your card
Tie a bow with Red and White Bakers Twine (I have a thing about mixing cream and white so to remove some of the white I wiped the twine over my Jumbo Java ink
Then add your holly and berries
How to make Holly
Then crease a centreline (outward)
Bend and scrunch holly
Ink the edges and wipe over it to pick up the creases
Then cover with dimensional magic and a sprinkle of diamond dust
To make the berries
Take a variety of sizes of our cabochons
Drop a little bit of dimensional magic to the backs of them and place down onto red cardstock. Push down and swirl the cabochons around the cardstock a little to remove any air bubbles and to spread the dimensional magic around evenly
CARD 2
Adhere your cardstock and flash card to your card (i did my flash card on an angle)
Tie a bow with Red and White Bakers Twine again inking my twine with Jumbo Java ink
Then add your holly and berry
Card 3
Start with by adhering your black cardstock to your card
Draw a line around your flash card with liquid glue and sprinkle diamond dust over the glue. Once dry (around 5 minutes) adhere to your black cardstock.
Cut two 4.5cm stripes of our black acrylic chain with rhinestones . Tape with 3mm tape or liquid glue to top left hand corner then add our large snowflakes (with liquid glue)
Glue one of our Snowmen charms to the bottom right hand corner of the flash card
Using liquid glue add one of our Joy Wreaths to highlight the 25th
Using either 3mm tape or liquid glue attach a strip of our black acrylic chain with rhinestones to just below the flash card
Card 5
Ink the edges with Spanish Olive VersaMagic ink
Take one of our gardenias from the Heritage pack and apply liquid glue to some of the edges and dip into your diamond dust
Once glue has dried, place gardenia in centre of our new Flower Filigaree
Tape down 4 Metallic Gold Skeleton leaves then adhere the flower to the centre
Card 6
Cut piece of Scarlett Coredinations Cardstock , ink edges black and adhere to card
Adhere flash card to the centre of your cardstock
Add strip of black acrylic chain with rhinestones to top of the flash card
Adhere Black Merry Christmas Charming Chain with liquid glue. When dry, tie a bow from the top loop of charming chain with Red and White Bakers Twine (this time I wiped the twine with black ink)
Card 7
Cut piece of French Roast Coredinations Cardstock, Distress the edges of cardstock then adhere to card
Add strip of Brown Acrylic Chain with Rhinestones just above scalloped border on flash card
Adhere 2011 Christmas Bauble (I have inked my bauble with Spanish Olive VersaMagic ink, again its the white and cream thing!)
When dry, tie a bow from the top loop of charming chain with Red and White Bakers Twine
Card 8
Adhere your cardstock to card
Colour in a present charm with stickles (I say do this first as stickles take a while to dry)
Draw a line around your flash card with liquid glue and sprinkle diamond dust over the glue. Once dry (around 5 minutes) adhere to your cardstock.
Once both stickles and diamond dust is dry attach to layout
Card 9
Adhere cardstock and flash card to your card
Cut piece of red acrylic chain with rhinestones and adhere to flash card using liquid glue or 3mm tape
Adhere 2011 Christmas Bauble (I have inked my bauble with Spanish Olive VersaMagic ink, again its the white and cream thing!)
Card 10
Adhere your cardstock to card
Draw a line around your flash card with liquid glue and sprinkle diamond dust over the glue. Once dry (around 5 minutes) adhere to your cardstock. (leave a gap without diamond dust at the top for your filigree)
Using liquid glue or 3mm tape add a piece of red acrylic chain with rhinestones to above the banner on the flash card
Card 11
Tie Red and White Bakers Twine around the bottom of flash card with our Christmas Sleigh Charm
Card 12
Adhere cardstock and flash card to your card
Adhere strip of brown acrylic rhinestone chain to just above the scallop on the flash card.
With red organza ribbon tie the extra dangle from the Merry Christmas Charming Chain around the reindeer charm neck and using liquid glue AND foam tape attach him to the card
