I love it when new stock comes in
And just see how gorgeous the Websters pages Spring Market is!
I have used the following products available from my2angels:
Good Living and Gardener’s Seed papers and paper from the 6x6 paper pack
For the title I used the new Websters story tellers alphas
And lastly I sewed around the pages to add some texture

Hey guys, Keonie here (Guest DT from last year)
I visited Tracy last week to check out her new shop setting and couldn't help myself, I had to have a play with these papers from Webster’s Spring Market range...OMG how gorgeous are they!!
I begun this layout on a sheet of Core-dinations cardstock in Nightfall and sanded the edges to rough them up a little. OK, this layout involves a bit of ‘fussy cutting’ so prepare yourself for a little intense cutting...but trust me, it’s worth it.
I used the Webster’s Pages Spring Market – Good Living paper and cropped the signpost out and yes...removed the watering cans. Obviously you could leave these in if it suits your photos. I then loaded some Tim Holtz Rock Candy crackle paint onto a few of the signpost pieces and set it aside to dry. Towards to top right of the paper then you will see some clouds.
Cut the big one out, plus the one that sits right on the edge of the page. Mist these with Denim Blue Glimmer Mist and set aside to dry. Grab a piece of the Scrapware chipboard picket fence borders and cut a bit off to measure approx 9 cm. Paint this with Tim Holtz Picket Fence Crackle Paint and set aside to dry.
Whilst all your elements are drying now, mount the photo onto the CS (I have used a 5 x 7” photo and lightly sanded the edges to distress) kinda slightly off centre and toward bottom left-hand side of CS.
To add the border around the photo, I used a ruler and the underside of a craft knife to carefully scrape away a border.
Because you are using Core’dinations you can remove the top layer and expose the core to give you a frame around the photo. I then cut out some photo corners from the reverse side of the Good living paper (Floral side) and fussy cut a few extra flowers which were mounted on top with mounting tape to give dimension.
I cut three extra flowers also and these were mounted onto the post part of the sign post element.
See the Baker’s Twine, this was wrapped loosely around the 3D mounted flowers and wrapped around top right hand corner of photo to frame it.
The top right hand corner of the twine was secured with double-sided tape as this will be covered by the blue cloud element. Speaking of which, this was cut from the patterned paper and spritzed quite heavily with a darker blue Glimmer Mist.
Once this was dry I then cut an outline from the cloud to create the framed journaling spot and basically just layered these onto the LO, ruled lines in the journal cloud and journaled. All clouds were also outlined freehand with black journaling pen. On the dark blue cloud, I punched a small hole and attached a gorgeous ‘made with a smile’ sun charm with two jump rings before layering it over the outline cloud with 3D mounting tape.
Basically the rest of the layout comes together by layering your elements and adding some dimensional magic to random flowers, the bird on top of the sign post, and even over the white crackle paint on the picket fence embellishment. I also used dimensional magic as an adhesive for the Diamond Dust on the outline cloud journaling spot.
As a final touch, add your title with Webster’s Pages Spring Market alphas...these are awesome, 4 sets of coordinating coloured alpha sets to match the paper range, then a baker’s twine bow at the bottom of the sign post, a gorgeous silver dragonfly charm just nearby, and then a clear rhinestone on the bottom left hand flower and the eye of the bird atop the signpost element.
Throw in a few brown brads on the sign post and....I think you are done!
I have 2 other projects to show you using these gorgeous papers, but that will have to wait another day ... the weather isn't the best today for taking photos
Keonie
and now me Tracy
with nothing to show!
... but I had a fantastic weekend with Cathy Cafun and Melissa O'Neill having a sleep over and scrapping ... Cathy and I got 1 half completed layout done each and Miss Smartie Pants Mel did two awesome layouts .. keep an eye on her blog for them ... only two photos to share of the weekend
Someone didn't quite make it into bed!
Well it is hard work for a 4 year old supervising 3 crazy scrappers!
Serious decisions going on here!
Hope you all have a fantastic week

Hi there, trying to leave a comment. Melxx
Wow Kanomi, what an awesome layout, I love how you 3'd the sign post and the clouds are awesome, you are an awesome scrapper, and by the way Tracy Keilty, he has been awful since coming back from your place, all he wants is his dear Sarah, she apparently understands him...lol But totally crashed out tonight, and yes, I got 2 layouts done because you and Cathy are 2 peas in a pod with amazing creative ideas that sometimes don't run consistently, as a matter of fact I remember having a conversation with you and when waiting for a response SNAIL came out, you just had to put a snail charm on your layout.....lol I love it, you two just kill me with creativity, I must have been absent when they gave out the creative gene. Melxx
Fabulous LO's girls.. loving the Websters papers and how you have used them!! Had a fabulous time Tracy thanks for having me. Hopefully next time I will be a bit more creative!! :)))
