Today Taryn shares with us this gorgeous baby book she has made ...
I have finally completed Hayden's baby book. I couldn't resist when I saw the Teresa Collins Chic Bebe Boy range, and I used it to convert an old children's board book into this baby book.
This paper is so easy to work with, the mini tags and the notes papers are like ready made embellishments, all you need to do is cut them out, and stick them on.
The large crown charm looks fantastic on the front cover. I have also used black and white spotty ribbon, black rhinestuds, black flower, crystal brad, and organza ribbon on the cover page.
For page 1, I have added black star flower, black picot ribbon, black tiny alphas, white velvet ric-rac, and ruler charm.
For page 2 I have added black lace, love key charm, and scrapware brackets.
For the brackets, I have painted them black, then sprinkled them with diamond dust, and then finished off with dimensional magic.
For page 4, I have used two of the tags from the mini tags paper, with some black picot ribbon and more flowers.
For page 5, more scrapware, with some black and white spotty ribbon, white velvet ric-rac and black rectangular ribbon slide.
I love the idea of using an old board book Taryn, its so beautifully recorded and I totally agree with how easy the journaling tags and notes papers are to add to your creations.
Thanks so much for sharing this special book with us
and thanks to everyone for looking
Hope you all have a safe and creative weekend
