Wham Bang Ouch
Wham Bang Ouch is one of the latest releases from Buzz and Bloom chipboard range that we have instore. I have been waiting for it to arrive so I can finish off this layout of my son’s first day of high school.
Actually it is a layout mum gave me some time back to finished it off for her as she didn’t know what more to add. Well mum I keep the photos from the layout but that was it! Sorry but I couldn’t think of what to add and it was much easier to start again. It is also my entry for this months Calendar Challenge over at Purple Scraps. We had to incorporate a painted stencil into our layout and add circles.
Papers used was Rose Moka Equinoxe Pied de Poule and Reconfort (gotta love these double sided papers). I cut up strips to make the bricks then ran my stanley knife down the sides to give it the rough look like bricks. On the chipboard I coloured it in and finished it off with Black Kindy Glitz.
Here I have included our ruler charm.
Here are a couple of other new chipboard products from Buzz and Bloom in store.
I just realised I haven’t shown you this eg that I made ages ago which I clip my unpaid bills to (really need a much bigger clip) LOL
Used an old curtain as the dress, added our bling square buckle, rhinestones, pink corrugated ribbon, flower, organza ribbon and our eye pins with a bead.
Hope your week is creative. TFL

Tasmania Scrapping Classes and News
On Saturday 26th there is 3 classes: 2 layouts, 1 OTP and for anyone who has booked for 2 classes or more can also attend a FREE embellishment class.
I have completed 1 layout with 2 tiny snippets of the layout below, to give you a little clue.
Clue number 2 is your title will either be family, love, adore or sweet as you will be receiving all 4 of these rhinestone words in your class kit.
Oh okay one more clue the paper we are using is one of my favourite Rose Moka Diva - Fatale.
Now ... no more or next I will be showing you the whole layout LOL
And these are what you will be doing in the embellishment class (templates included to take home for future use)
Mmmmm I wonder what one of these new arrivals from Scrapware I will be using on one of the class kits?
Congratulations to Brenda W, East Devonport, Tasmania, Amanda T from Woodridge, Qld and Daphne B from Shalvey, NSW for receiving FREE kit of the months with their orders this week. 5 extra bonus packs were also given away this week with orders.
And finally, Sue aka Soupie from Scrapbooking Top 50 awarded me with this blog award
Oh bless her, I have been neglecting so many forums lately but she still remembered me - thanks Sue :)
So I am passing it onto my some old and some new friends - the DT team over at From Screen 2 Scrap

Angel or Fairy?
I used some old rub ons for the word sorry which as you can see were a bit dodgy but I quite like the effect of them so I left it as is ... not bothering with a black pen to fix up. I sprayed the doily with starfish glimmer mist, red organza ribbon, white corrugated ribbon with two of our red flowers.
Now this card caused me a bit of confusion (what's new???) as I have always called the charm used Angels but the 2 males in the house said they are fairies. What do you reckon? Could it be both? Or am I ... god forbid ... wrong for once PML?
Wow my birdhouse turned out to be a popular item – thanks for the encouraging emails and comments left. I have managed to get 5 more birdhouses arriving around the 14th August so if anyone would like one of these please email me at info@my2angels.net - yes Amanda I have one put aside for you already
They are $10 each but unfortunately the postage will be $5.20 due to the thickness of the posts. However if you purchase papers, bottles or tapes from our website as well you be paying the flat rate of $5.20 anyway – just a thought
Time to get DS off to footy again
Hope your weekend is creative and your kids are behaving themselves ;)

OTP Birdhouse
I was going to hang my tapes on it, but I think I might leave it on my desk as it, unless Sarah steals it for her room.
As required for the challenge I used 2 pieces of chipboard being the bird(covered in blue rhinestones) and scrapware picket fences (which I painted and applied crackle paint to). Lace was also required and is the snow at the bottom of the birdhouse. (It is actually a lace curtain I brought from the shops for about $2.50 - bargin as it is over a metre wide and works with the sizzex). It also had to be shabby chic, which I think I will get away with. It was my second attempt the first was black and white, then realising in the middle of the night ... crap ... wrong papers and colours for the theme!
So for the second attempt the papers I used was the kaiser cocco range, snowflake charms, leaf charms, dragonfly charms, silver glitter, blue & white stemmed flowers, buzz and bloom chipboard flowers (cut up) and lots and lots of 3d crystalina kindy glitz. We have all the products available except the colour paint.
Here are few close ups.
Our snowflake charm which is just hanging by a dribble of dimensional magic (man this stuff is great!)
Scrapware birds covered with our blue rhinestones - again all held together with dimensional magic
The chipboard flowers at the bottom, painted again, is the Buzz and Bloom Arboretum up the garden path - I just separated them. Our blue stemmed flowers which I have sort of wrapped around has our leaf charms attached. Also have put a couple of our dragonfly charms up the sides
Man I love this 3D kindyglitz and it is thick enough as you can see to "hang"! I then sprinkled our silver glitter over the top of the whole house - leaving a mess on my table!
News from the website:
So far this month we have given away FREE with paid orders:
2 kits to Kym in Ipswich and Diane in WA
6 extra bonus packs
2 bonus bonus packs
Some items have already sold out, but a restock is on the way. More coredinations papers & Dimensional Magic will be here tomorrow and fingers crossed by Friday the glimmer mist will be here along with Carole Creations papers, restock of Rose Moka, Basic Grey rubons and Collage Press Papers.
New arrivals since last time are:
These last rhinestones whilst gorgeous (love the colour) I have called them clear blue (starting to run out of names) whilst the picture shows them a having a purple tone they are more blue. Anyone who orders them give me shout on what you think they should be named.
And now for ...
My beautiful DD, Sarah, has made it into the Districts teams for 100m sprint, relay and shotput. She was orginally as a reserves for the shotput as she had been sick all week of the trials but on the competition day, one team member was sick (oh what a shame!) so Sarah stepped in and WON FIRST PLACE with a throw of 6.15m. So my baby is all very nervous awaiting 17th and 18th August for the Districts competitions.
She has asked me not to let her see me on the day as I distract her so if you hear of any reports of a mother being arrested for hiding behind a tree taking photos of a childrens sports day THATS ME! However I am not sure whether taking the camera is worth it - remember the "action" photos I got of her scoring goals last soccer session! NOT!
I am also not sure where she gets the talent from I hear her mother is a drunken, smoking lazy coffee drinking woman who sits on her butt all day long at the computer.
Have an awesome week everyone
Tracy :)
