Love the effect the Nightfall Core dinations Cardstock gives when used with the Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Script Texure. It is like it has been lightly sanded.
And lastly, 5 beautiful inspiring cards/tags from Taryn . She has explained in detail for you how she created these gorgeous cards.
For this card "together forever", I used a very plain, square design, to feature the beautiful felt heart. I sprayed the plain white cardstock base with glimmermist, then added layers of square paper, distressed and stitched around some of the edges, and trimmed the card with ribbons around the centre. I finished off by cutting the words "together forever" out of the LYB Love Letters pattern paper, and mounted them on the pink. This double-sided paper lends itself beautifully to rolling, as I did in the top right corner of the card.
Red Glitter Ribbon,Buzz and Bloom - that 70's alphabet
Black rhinestone flourish
Black cotton lace
Making Memories Spellbound Tiny Alphas, Glimmermist
This "love" tag was just for fun. I used a corrugated cardboard base, which I painted, and sprayed with glimmermist, Then cut scraps of paper, and wrapped them around the tag. I then stamped the word "love", and cut out some of the beautiful shapes from the paper to decorate the top. I finished off by adding a pink felt heart, and stitching on some lace, and distressed strips of paper.
This card is my favourite, on a striking black cardstock base. I have made a feature of the felt heart, by mounting it on a circle of black and white paper, cutting a circle out of the front of the card so the heart can be seen from both the inside, and outside of the card. The LYB die-cut paper makes it so simple, with the ready-made trim. I also love the look of the chipboard letters sprayed with pink glimmermist
Thank you so much ladies for your beautiful cards. I hope that they have you inspired to get over to your table and scrap :)
Back later in the week with some Back to School projects to share from the team
Take care
Have a fantastic and creative week
