Its all about Corrina today, who has been sitting in the naughty corner for getting the sketch to me late LOL but in her defence she is busy creating 12 days of Christmas cards starting on Monday, so we will let her off LOL ...
Melinda's Sketch Challenge...
I love a good challenge, and sketches are fantastic because they really aren’t a challenge at all!!!! All the hard work and planning is done for you already. I love this sketch by our fantastic guest designer Melinda for this month. Here is my take to it...
Watch me JUMP... This is my little guy having a go at a big trampoline at Kalbarri...he kept yelling out “watch me watch me” so we watched and I clicked!!

The background is a piece of Rose Moka Equinoxe Reconfort paper, with a piece of October Afternoon Egg Basket at the contrast paper. I lightly inked the edge of this contrast paper as it is so bright, just to cool it down a bit. I added some Buzz and Bloom black corduroy clouds (damn they so hard to get now!!!) and I used some great thickers Jewelry Box black stickers and Jenni Bowlin Tiny Circle Alpha stickers to create the title. The journalling was some chipboard inked black and I used a silver gel pen.

The tree was hand cut using 3 different papers, and I used foam tape to 3-d the trunk, and a combination of foam tape and glue to make the leaves curl up and pop up from the page.
Materials Used:
Papers: Rose Moka Equinoxe Reconfort, October Afternoon Cherry Hill Egg Basket, Websters Life Portrait Reflections (the reverse side), Jenni Bowlin Extension Black Micro Dot, Fancy Pants Like Father Like Son Big Guy.
Letter Stickers: AC Chipboard Thickers Jewelry Box Black, Jenni Bowlin Tiny Circle Alpha stickers Vintage
Embellishments: Buzz and Bloom black corduroy clouds, chipboard
Product used: black ink.

Friends ...
This photo was taken recently when me & my hubby and Wendy took our families away on holiday to Broome. It’s me and Wendy on Cable Beach at sunset.
For the background, I used a piece of TPC Studios Boho Blooms Butterflies paper.
It had a gorgeous big blue butterfly in one corner that I didn’t want to cover up, and I didn’t get 2 sheets of this paper to use - how many times do we buy papers because of the beautiful patterns and then can’t bear to cover them or cut them up!! – so the solution was simple...
I made a small cut using a scalpel along the top ONLY of the butterfly I did NOT cut it out completely...This created a little pocket to slip the photo and mat in behind

For photo mat I used part of a The Girls Paperie Papergirl Newsprint Scallop die cut paper.
The contrasting pink paper is also TPC Studios Boho Blooms paper – this time Pink Passion Border.
I also used the reverse side of this paper to cut out some butterflies to layer in the top corner (they matched perfectly to the ones already ON the paper) and added some extra butterflies because you can NEVER have enough butterflies

I stuck the middle of the butterflies down using PVA, then popped some foam tape under the wings to make them pop out from the page. I finished the butterflies off with some string of bling down the centre.
The title was done using some Rusty Pickle alphabet stickers (chocolate kisses), and I finished off the page with a Prima Fairy Flora collection journalling cardstock die cut sticker, some more chain bling, and a hint of crystallina kindy glitz on the butterflies.
